LYNN WALLINGTON is the weekend host for Spaced Out Radio. She has studied the UFO phenomena and worked with experiencers for the past 10 years. As a lifelong contactee and experiencer of the paranormal, she has come to understand how these experiences have helped to shape her into the person she has become.

Her first paranormal experience happened at a young age, where she saw her great grandmother sitting at the edge of her bed one night, only to find out the next morning that she had passed away. And since that defining moment, she’s had a fascination with all things paranormal. Her interest in the paranormal and how it affects people led her to get a degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts. Krippner has conducted workshops and seminars on dreams and/or hypnosis in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Cuba, Cyprus, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Mexico, the Netherlands, Panama, the Philippines, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Venezuela, and at several congresses of the Interamerican Psychological Association. He is a member of the editorial or advisory board for Revista Argentina de Psicología Paranormal, the Journal of Humanistic Psychology, the Journal of Transpersonal Psychology, and the Humanistic Psychologist. He has given invited addresses to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Pedagogical Sciences, and the School for Diplomatic Studies, Montevideo, Uruguay. He is a Fellow of the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion, and of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.

In 2002, the American Psychological Association granted him its Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Development of Psychology, and the same year he received the Society for Psychological Hypnosis’ Award for Distinguished Contributions to Professional Hypnosis. Krippner has received Lifetime Contributions Awards from the Society for Humanistic Psychology, the International Association for the Study of Dreams, the Parapsychological Association, and the International Network on Personal Meaning.

"Human beings need to explain puzzling events in their lives, creating beliefs, scenarios, and worldviews at many levels—cultural, ethnic, institutional, familial, and individual. The human brain searches for beliefs more often than it looks for facts because the organism’s goal is survival, not finding “truth.” These “answers” are often helpful, serving as cognitive roadmaps that help people navigate their way through both placid and challenging times. But they may also be overly simplistic and do not do justice to complicated phenomena."

STEVE STOCKTON is a veteran outdoorsman, author and has been researching the unexplained for over 35 years. Originally from the mountains of East Tennessee, Steve has traveled all over the country and many parts of the world and now makes his home in Portland, Oregon, near the wilds and "bigfoot country" of the Pacific Northwest.

Steve cites as his influences his "gypsy witch" grandmother who told him multitudes of legends and stories as a small child, as well as authors such as Frank Edwards, John Keel, Charles Fort, Loren Coleman, Ivan Sanderson, Colin Wilson and Nick Redfern.

His published books include Strange Things in the Woods and More Strange Things in the Woods (collections of true, paranormal encounters) as well as the autobiographical My Strange World, where he talks about his own experiences dating back to childhood. Steve's published books include Strange Things in the Woods, More Strange Things in the Woods, My Strange World, We Are All Children in the Wilderness of the Afterlife: A Guided Tour Through a Haunted Life (Co-author, with Sysco Murdoch), National Park Mysteries and Disappearances Volume 1, 2, and 3. Steve is currently at work on a book of ghost stories and a book about myths and legends of the Southern Appalachians, both expected to be available this year.

Missing Persons in National Parks and Forests - The UFO Connection

Over the past few years, while doing research for my National Park Mysteries and Disappearances books and creating content for my YouTube channel (Missing Persons and Mysteries), I have found some odd connections with UFO encounters and abductions.

In some cases, it may be a simple overlap, such as missing time, or finding one's self in a strange, unrecognized place. In some of the more frightening encounters (such as the man who was missing and lost in Joshua Tree National Park), it seems actual alien entities were encountered. These connections, whether subtle or obvious, raise some serious questions - are people being abducted from our National Parks and Forests by beings from another world or dimension?
